Wanna Make a Rainbow?

TIPS:

• This experiment is best done on a plain white plate or a plain white bowl so the colours show up clearer.
• If you do this a second time with cold water as part of a science experiment to see if there is a different result you should discover the following:

Using water that is cold or at room temperature slows the process of the rainbow forming. The hotter the water, the more quickly the rainbow will form. This is because the molecules in warm water move around more quickly than in cold water.
