Scene Set up Ideas...
This is one of the quickest tasks to prepare.
In our scene, we used one of those free pencils from Ikea. ✏️ It is the perfect size for little hands!
Another idea is to also place some numbers from the riddle (including the number 7) on pieces of paper or card by the elf.
The riddle 🔍may take children about 10 seconds to solve, it could take them all day! If the children are struggling you could tell them the hint below.
HINT:💡”If you are good at spelling, this could help you solve this!”
TIPS:
- We set the timer (on a smartphone) 📱 for 5 minutes which was just long enough. You may want to give the children a longer or shorter time, it’s up to you.
