Scene Set up Ideas...
This task may make their brain hurt!
We put a notepad in our scene to encourage note-taking (and picture drawing to help work out clue 1).
There is no time limit on this task. But you could add one if you prefer! It’s up to you…
We did not put any treats in our scene but some ideas could be:
- A number-related prize! Like a game or a puzzle
TIPS:
- Qu 1 – You could ask the children to draw a picture to help them make notes. If they have got the answer to this wrong, we suggest you correct them, explaining how you got the answer.
- Qu 2 – Explain to the children that a “single-digit” number is any of the following: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9.
- Qu 3 – You could suggest they write down the answers from questions 1 and 2 and multiply them together.
