Scene Set up Ideas...
This task may make their brain hurt! 🤕
🗒️✏️We put a notepad and pencil in our scene to encourage note-taking and drawing to help work out clue 1.
⏰There is no time limit on this task. But you could add one if you prefer; it’s up to you!
We did not put any treats in our scene but some ideas are a number-related prize. 🔢 Such as a number game or number puzzle.
TIPS:
- Qu 1 – You could ask the children to draw a picture to help them make notes. If they have got the answer to this wrong, we suggest you correct them, explaining how you got the answer.
- Qu 2 – Explain to the children that a “single-digit” number is any of the following: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9.
- Qu 3 – You could suggest they write down the answers from questions 1 and 2 and multiply them together.
